Cheryl Foster
My name is Cheryl Foster, I am a Métis Grandmother, Elder, and multidisciplinary artist with kinship ties to Huppe', Ward, Morin, Lavalee, and Cyr. My maternal Grandmother was born in Rooster Town on the land known as lot 31, owned by my ancestor Jean Baptiste Berard, and my lineage includes Joseph Huppe', who fought in the Victory of Frog Plain. My beadwork is made from the heart and soothes my soul.
