About the Artist
Shannon Genaille
Shannon Genaille is a proud Red River Métis Citizen. She began beading after watching her sister and some amazing friends doing so many beautiful projects.
Her love for beading came after she helped her sister do a big order (broke 5 needles) and swore she would never bead. That order lit a fire within her, and she now has her own collection of flat stitch earrings and pins.
Shannon does not make the exact same earring more than once and loves to come up with her own patterns and color combinations. Beading is her comfort and brings her peace and time to reflect.
One thing she was taught and follows is to never bead when angry or sad. She believes that beading needs to come from a place of content and happiness.
