About the Artist
Brandy Ellerbrock
Brandy Ellerbrock is a proud Red River Métis citizen, born and raised in Winnipeg. She is an active member of both her Seven Oaks Métis Local and the Infinity Woman’s Secretariat. Most of Brandy's adult life was spent living in Europe before moving back to Manitoba where she feels most at home in 2011.
She takes pride in passing her artistic impressions down to her four children which she finds an important responsibility to uphold to keep their connection to their heritage.
When she isn’t watching her children's activities in the evenings she enjoys beading, hand sewing Capotes, painting and weaving sashes which has given her an unexpected blessing of relaxation.
