This is Zaden Prychun, he is head woodworker at Pickled. At age 13 he discovered that he is a very talented woodworker, especially when it comes to handcrafting items. Some of his first items were handmade spoons, after that he gained interest in lathe work making bowls. His mom’s side of the family is where the Métis heritage comes from, Zaden’s great grandpa has recently turned 100 years old and he has received original Métis experiences and stories. After taking a few woodworking classes throughout school he discovered he can create many unique items on a lathe so Zaden decided to pursue his dream of becoming a professional woodworker with his small business Pickled. He has gained a wide variety of experience to create very unique woodworking products that he hopes others appreciate as much as him.
