Karly Dawn Armstrong

Karly was born and raised in Selkirk, Manitoba, as a proud Interlake Region Red River Metis Citizen.

She grew up in a very artistic Metis family that always encouraged the expression of art and land-based teachings.

She went from making and sewing clothing, fishing, and hunting with her father to medicine walks, making bread, and drawing and painting pictures for hours with her grandmother.

Karly has always taken pride in her art and teachings, with the ability to create and master the skills that come from the knowledge she’s been taught.
