Jack Simpson

I got into painting after my brother was murdered  It was a way to cope.  I then applied to the University of Manitoba after encouragement from one of the professors, that I met during a workshop I attended in Dauphin MB.

It was there that I first heard of the expression healing through art.  🙂 I graduated in 2002. And made my first sale to the MMF of a painting I did of Louis Riel.

I then returned to work as a heavy-equipment operator but continued to paint also.
