Elijah Leonard

My Journey started when I was younger. I realized I was an artist and persevered. I started off small with drawings and like a flower pushes up through the sod, it grew into something beautiful.
Today I use chainsaws and other various hand tools to breath life into things most people would throw away like tree trunks.
Through family support, Metis involvement and many positive hours spent honing my craft I can change my little corner of the world for the better.
Much of what I have accomplished was because MMF has given me a sense of self worth. Looking up to David Chartrand has been an encouragement to strive to be more.
While my hands where shaping the wood, many hands of th MMF were shaping me.
In all things I pray.
