Deena Caplette – Kid City Century

YESTERDAY

I’m Deena Caplette, founder and owner of Kid City. From a young age, I have always dreamed of owning my own business. I left my hometown of Winnipeg to attend Yale University on a hockey scholarship. Upon graduation, I returned to Winnipeg, because I love this city and wanted to make a positive contribution to the community.  After seeing a void in family  entertainment and with the inspiration of my nephew, I opened Kid City in 2010. Thanks to incredible customers like you, a second location was opened in 2012.

TODAY

Locally owned and operated, Kid City offers you and your children a fun, safe and clean setting to be active and spend quality time together. Physical activity and leading a healthy lifestyle are very important to me personally and something I believe is vital to our youth. Kids can also learn valuable skills, such as cooperation and sharing, while interacting with siblings, parents and newfound friends.  Through the entertaining and engaging activities at Kid City, I hope you make positive, lasting memories that will stay with your family for years to come.

My goal for Kid City is to remain an exceptional form of entertainment for Winnipeg families into the future, so one day your children can bring their children here.  And … You tell us! My team and I strive to keep kid city fresh, innovative and exciting. That means listening to you and developing the business to meet the growing needs of our customers.
