Cayla and Cheryl Hurley

Taanishi, nice to meet you, Cheryl and Cayla are a Mother Daughter Team based just outside of Winnipeg on Treaty 1 Territory.

Their team works together to create unique, one of a kind Ribbon Skirts. Their Ribbon Skirts are unique as they all have either a paper bag or regular gathered waist band and best of all, POCKETS. They love putting together different color and ribbon combos. They are always looking and trying something new and exciting for designs.

Growing up Cheryl was not a stranger to the sewing machine learning from her Mom and Family, As her Daughter, Cayla, got older she passed the knowledge to her.

The creativity and love for creating items have always been a passion of theirs and they are so happy and honored to be able to create something that connects them to their Red River Métis culture.
