I am a proud Red Rive Mètis, daughter, sister, mother, friend.

Growing up in Lynn Lake, MB taught me to love and appreciate the untouched beauty of Mother Nature.

In my younger years, I enjoyed making moccasins and other leather works. I am no stranger to creating, which I get from my Mother.

My interest in porcupine quill jewelry began after I learned of my Mètis heritage, at 35 years into my life journey.

My great-grandmother was Cree; Cree people were known for their quill works. I thought it might be a special way to honor her and my ancestry.

I hope you enjoy my unique styles as much as I have enjoyed making them for you.
