Amanda Lépine – Dancing Thunderbird Woman
Indigenous Artist | Métis Beadwork | Storytelling Through Beads
Tansi! My name is Amanda Lépine, also known by my traditional Cree name, Dancing Thunderbird Woman. I am a proud Métis artisan rooted in culture, strength, and spirit. Every bead I place is a prayer, a story, and a tribute to the resilience of my ancestors.
My beadwork blends traditional Indigenous techniques with personal storytelling, using vibrant colors, floral designs, and sacred symbolism. Each piece I create—whether it’s earrings, medallions, or regalia accents—is crafted with care, connection, and meaning. No two pieces are ever the same, because each one is made from spirit and soul.
Through my art, I hope to carry forward teachings, honour my Cree and Métis lineage, and inspire others to find beauty in our roots and power in our healing.
